The Bodger's Grand Exhibition

Welcome to The Bodger's Grande Exhibition, a Steampunk Makers Fair. Are you an artisan? Come display your amazing skills!

2016's theme is "Patent: Approved!" - We're celebrating five years' amazing adventure with a focus on our artificers and bodgers, makers and mad genius who inspired us. Imagine your science fair unburdened of vulgar constraints such as reality. Or physics. Tentative categories include Artistry (you make pretty), Vision (you make bizarre), and Function (you make it work). And with $100's of dollars in prizes, we're putting our money on the table. The Exhibition is open to participants of the Brass Screw Confederacy and prizes will be awarded by our panel of judges. Brass Screw members are cordially invited to stroll the aisles and experience the creative genius and mad bodgering skills of the multi-talented makers.

Bodgers! Come represent at our first year. Rules and information

From there we'll proceed to training in a series of subtler arts, wrapping up with an obstacle course to test the mettle of each and every would-be trooper.

The Airship Trooper Proving Grounds are open to a limited number by pre-registration only. Participants must be over 14 and able to engage in strenuous exercise and tea drinking. Location will be announced exclusively to participants upon registration. Registration available with ticket purchase.

Scavenger Hunt

Join us Saturday, June 11th, at the Cotton Building downtown Port Townsend, for the great steampunk scavenger hunt! Younglings 13 and under will be led by our team of intrepid adventurers through downtown from 1-2pm on a search for engine parts, accumulating in a grand nerf gun shootout between pirates and participants.

The great desert-walker Mirage has been attacked just outside of Port Townsend by a marauding group of rogue scientists, scattering critical parts across town. Scouts located the lost parts, but were attacked by the scientists' lackeys before they could retrieve them! Just before being shanghaied, the scouts managed to write down clues to the coordinates for the lost parts on two charts and hide them to prevent the beastly bodgers from commandeering the desert-walker. Captain Jhin of the desert walker “Mirage” and his First Mate Danielle are calling all young inventors and scrappers to assist in the search for the missing parts! But be on your guard my steam-savvy friends, for the location of the parts is still infested with the roguish attackers!

Admission is free to BSC ticket holders and children 13 and under. Some nerf guns available on a first come first serve basis. Hunt starts promptly at 1pm. While the scavenger hunt is led by responsible chaperones, we are not responsible for lost or missing children or their safety. Parents are encouraged to accompany their offspring.
